Founding Member and Speaker
Dr. Barbara McClatchie and her team are founding members of the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health (AAOSH). AAOSH provides support to health professionals and the public by providing a higher quality and standard for health care service and public awareness of the mouth-body connection. With its goal of "connecting medicine and dentistry to save lives," AAOSH is passionate in its vision to educate medical and dental professionals to create a higher quality and standard for health care and increase public awareness of the connections between the mouth and the body (also called the "oral systemic connection"). As founding and active members of AAOSH, Dr. McClatchie and her team are part of an elite group of individuals, who have gained the skills to be designated as accomplished oral-systemic practitioners.
AAOSH connects medical and dental professional with each other, for the overall health of the patient. As a husband and wife team at the founding AAOSH meeting, Dr. Barbara McClatchie and Dr. Eric Goulder were called the "match made in heaven" for medical-dental collaboration.
AAOSH provides advanced continuing education opportunities on the oral systemic connections through scientific sessions, collaborative events, webinars, core curriculum modules, articles, graphic resources, networking and collaboration opportunities, and more.
